Nick home for the challenge

It's been a busy week getting final things done for the trip.

Nick is home from 'Johnnies' tomorrow night. His Mother and Father are looking forward to giving him some jobs to do!

Less than a week to go!

Well there is less than a week to go before we head up the Island. I think everything is just about sorted. A few last things to get organised. For anyone joining us on the bike ride through to Garston it looks like we should be getting away from the reserve above Coastguard Riverton around midday. We will be riding up through Otautau and on to Mossburn across to Five Rivers and over the Jollie's Pass to Gartson. Anyone is welcome to join us and can start and stop where they wish. The weather at this stage looks reasonable.

Thanks to those who have donated to the Coastguard already and for the interest and support shown in this challenge.

Keep an eye on this site as we will be providing more detail about each day's routine as it is finalised.

Final plans for day one will be posted within the next couple of days.
